“The most prestigious bottles begin to exist the moment we empty them among friends.”

2020 Hero Twins Cabernet Sauvignon
100 Points - Wine Advocate
"A complete wine, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Hero Twins is fresh and expressive and possesses immaculate weight with pure oak flavors that are brilliantly balanced with seductive, bright red fruit tones and elegant mineral essences. Medium to full-bodied, the wine continues to unwind and reveal its complexities and has me seduced just from smelling the nose. It's a masterpiece of Red Mountain that perfectly encapsulates world-class Cabernet with succulent and seductive notes that keep me coming back for more. It features energetic acidity, fine-grained tannins and delicate herbs and dusty florals that shine with purity and finesse. This gorgeous wine will continue to be a guiding light for world-class Red Mountain Cabernet. This proves that not all 2020 wines were smoke tainted. Put this on your list to buy, drink and cellar. Only two barrels were made of this fantastic Cabernet. Sadly, no 2021 vintage was made. Only 600 bottles were bottled for the world to share, made from the best two barrels of Cabernet in the cellar. Bravo!"

What people are saying
Wonderful wines! Love the family story and the property is beautiful. They’re also certified sustainable which is cool! The thought and care from vine to glass is obvious. Can't wait to go back!
”First and foremost, the wine is amazing! Couple that with great wine club events and Chris and Thea (winemaker/owners) being beyond welcoming and genuine I am so happy with my decision to join the wine club. I volunteered to help with bottling last spring and that was the catalyst to me becoming part of the Upchurch family. Highly recommend!
”Beautiful setting, gracious and personable proprietors, and really, great wines. We joined the club and will be back often.
”I absolutely adore Upchurch. The wines are spectacular, you leave feeling like family, and I just cannot say enough wonderful things about this winery. Must visit! Must experience!
”This is one of the best experiences we have had at a winery. Our server Andy was super knowledgeable of the region and the owners Chris and Thea were an absolute joy to get to know. The wines were out of this world too! This will be a stop for us every time we visit the area!
”We were fortunate enough to meet the owners Chris and Theadora. They were so accommodating and gracious hots. We learned a lot about their wine and fell more in love with red mountain. This was definitely our favorite of the vineyards we visited. Amazing people, amazing wine.
”Great family-owned winery. Stopped by on a day they were closed. The owners saw me out in the vineyard taking pictures and invited me in for a quick tasting before a special event. Great customer service.
”Fantastic wines and host!! Highly recommend this lovely winery and setting to anyone in the area or passing through. We drove 6 hrs to get there and it was totally worth it!!
”Great wines and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of the better complete winery experiences you will have.
