TASTING NOTES
The Candy Mountain Merlot is a beautiful addition to the Upchurch portfolio. The wine exhibits a playful aromatic character showcasing notes of tart red cherries, black raspberry, lilacs and pink pepper corn. The structure of the wine shows wonderful balance in its youth, fine tannins and a lively acidity to complement the notes of blackberries, red plum, and warm holiday spices.
We couldn't be happier with this first vintage of our Candy Mountain wine and are excited for the journey this beautiful terroir will take us on.
