The Candy Mountain Merlot is a beautiful addition to the Upchurch portfolio. The wine exhibits a playful aromatic character showcasing notes of tart red cherries, black raspberry, lilacs and pink pepper corn. The structure of the wine shows wonderful balance in its youth, fine tannins and a lively acidity to complement the notes of blackberries, red plum, and warm holiday spices.

"The brilliant 2022 Upchurch ‘Candy Mountain’ Merlot comes from this site set on clay and gravel soils. Dark in the glass, the wine delivers heady toasty oak alongside mocha, sandalwood, tar and rich Morello cherry. The nose is downright killer. The palate is soft and refined with a silky texture, showing lovely coffee ground and chocolate flavors. Drink 2024-2036"
